History of The Foothills Magazine™

The Foothills Magazine™ was first published in the fall of 2003. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of the top tourist destinations for families in the United States.

With that in mind, The FHM was started with a vision to provide visitors traveling to the area with an informative way to make the most of their vacation to the area.

Inside you will find some of the best shops, attractions, entertainment, dining and accommodations in the area, as well as a time line of events of what to do during your stay.

With the help of the Tennessee Department of Tourism and local Special Events Directors throughout Sevier and Blount counties, we will continue our vision to bring you the most up to date informative periodical, in a part of the country rich in heritage that we call home!
